So this is how I made the dress from the film King Arthur.
I am no seamstress I merely made this in a methodical way.

Anyway, with all of that aside I hope this helps or at least sheds some light upon how to make it.

After step 5 please turn inside out to hide the seams, for the sleeves you will see the seams anyway unless you make them separately.

I used around 3 meters of fabric that was 60 inches wide.
The cotton jersey fabric was a soft stretchy type so it draped really well.

I have some new photos of the dress here [link] and here [link]

Yes, we (me and two more) just formed our own small coven. It's been great so far. We are learning and practicing together.

I have it in the description.

But I suggest using 3 meters just in case you need to make it bigger or smaller etc. I used cotton jersey which was very stretchy (I chose it for colour and budget) but I would suggest if you have a better budget than I did then go for a textured (woven) soft cotton fabric.

you can see better images of the dress from the film here to give you an idea what to look for;

Wish me luck I'm making this this morning for my daughters Halloween costume! We are using a light weight suiting material in a pretty light green! I'll post pics when it's done!

Thanks so much for this great tutorial!
